Things are pretty dead over at the Christmas site. Too bad. It could’ve been a lot of fun if more people had participated. As it is, the owner of the site posted more than anyone else, and I came in second.

I’m still not giving up, but it’s pretty much like talking to yourself over there. Much like this site, I guess.

I just added a new category, “Under the influence.” I’m sure you can figure that one out.

I am definitely going to by a Nintendo GameCube. I already have a large selection of games for my GameBoy Advance, and I get a bit tired of playing the games on that tiny screen. The portable is great for travel, which I will be doing very soon when I go to San Diego for Christmas. However, I think a console would be better for wasting time when I am at home. I really have no plans for buying GameCube specific games at this point. Maybe I never will buy any of them. I will buy the GameCube and the adaptor to play gameboy games on said console. It will cost more than buying a duplicate game boy advance, but I think in the long run it will be a better deal overall. I’ll still be able to transfer information across RPGs using a link cable, which is very important to my game play. If you’re going to spend a lot of time playing a game, you want to leverage that time when you play the sequel.

I am overwhelmed at the reception my site has recieved so far. Eh, I knew no one would read it but me. Anyway, there’ll be more stuff for me to read to myself in a little while. I have many ideas, but they are kind of stuck in molasses right now.

The posting at the Christmas site is sparse. We could use your participation. If you like to be creative, play another character, and blow off some of that holiday steam, join us over there. Anyone can play. You can remain anonymous to everyone but the site owner if you choose.

This weblog is apparently up and running as of today, Pearl Harbor Day 2004. I am posting as “Cranky, the backup reindeer” at Christmas.isfullofcrap.com. Note that it is rated R for verbal content. Most of my energy will probably go there for the time being. I like Christmas, but I also enjoy complaining about it.
